LGP2, a world class laboratory
The investigation carried out within the LGP2 covers wide domains since it starts with the study of the vegetal biomass structure and extends to converting, finishing and printing of the ensuing papers and paper boards.
Five departments
To accomplish its missions, the LGP2 calls upon the competences of five research departments:Chemistry processes, Papermaking and environment engineering, Paper physics, Converting-biomaterials-packaging, Graphic science and technologies.

- 38 Phd and 4 post-doctorates researchers, 50% of them coming from different countries
- 40 publications in international journals with referees
- 35 communications in international congress with advisory boards and extended proceedings
