Goals

Know the different biological processes.
Understand how they work and resolve operating problems.
Be able to desing activated sludge treatment, and other aerobic treatments.

Presentation of different biological processes to treat gaseous and liquid effluents.
Introduction of the role of microorganisms in pollutant degradation.
Implementation of design models for activated sludge using two approaches: global approaches like desktop study and dynamic modeling.
Elements for the design of biofilters, granular and anaerobic processes.
