The main objectives of this project are:
Design and produce a multi-media document with variable data. Integrate an interaction between Internet, mobile, tablet, print (cross-media) media,
Conduct a project,
Communicate by oral and written,
Students work in groups of three or four. There are 4 phases in this project. Each phase should, if possible, be concentrated over two weeks: 1. Self-publishing to DTP software: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator (individual work) 2. Creation of a multichannel campaign schema by group and design and first printing of a printed document. At first, each student proposes one to several models. In a second time the group chosen the best proposal. 3. Design and implementation of a static website. At first, each student proposes one to several models. In a second time the group chosen the best proposal. 4. Introduction of variable data at the print level and at the level of the web site which should become dynamic (connection to a database, use of tools like Xmpie or php programming). A link between the media must be made (notion of cross-media).
3 milestones with 1 oral presentation and 1 report to be provided at each milestone. Evaluation takes place during the 3rd milestone In the notes, account shall be taken of:
rendering self-training exercises on InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator
Diagram of the multichannel campaign,
Specifications for the document to be printed, the website, and scenarios for the introduction of variable data.
