Goal(s)
To be able to analyse the performance of a drying section in a papermachine(measurements, determinations and critical analysis)
To understand the influence of the operating parameters in the drying section of a papermachine.

Content(s)
- Study of paper drying in a pilot paper machine, including the steam/ condensate system and the air system.
- Study of the influence of operating parameters on the kinetics of drying and the perfomance indicators using a papermachine simulator.

Test
Preparation homework, work during the lab sessions + written report.
No alternate/supplementary session.
Travail de préparation (N1/3pts), travail en séance (N2/6pts) et compte-rendu (N3/11pts) :
N = N1 + N2 + N3.

Environmental security
Pour les TPs autour de la machine à papier :
- le document écrit précisant le thème du TP donne des consignes générales de sécurité : tenue vestimentaire adaptée (pas de vêtement flottant, pas d'écharpe, ...), port d'EPI (bouchons d'oreilles, chaussures ) obligatoire, dangers.
- les consignes spécifiques relatives à la sécurité et l'environnement sont précisées oralement en fonction du projet des étudiants validé par l'enseignant, avant le démarrage de la partie expérimentale.
Les élèves n'ayant pas suivi la formation sécurité lors de l'intégration à Pagora ne sont pas autorisés à manipuler en TP
