Summary
Engineers at Grenoble INP-Pagora are managers able to address a variety of situations, model solutions to industries and to assume technical and managerial responsibilities. They quickly occupy positions of responsibility in many areas, high pay and perform various functions.
A professionalizing approach
During their course of 6 semesters or 3 years, engineering students build their professional project by making choices.
- Scientific projects.
- 1st year and 2nd year internships: in France or abroad, business type, function, theme.
- Academic program - Student or Apprentice
- Optional teaching specialty.
- Transversal optional courses: study "business" in the third year.
- Project of the end of studies: industrial or experimental orientation.
Objectives
Fibre and Biomaterials Engineering
Biomass and materials shapingThe fiber industry and biomaterials extends from biomass (biorefinery, chemical pulp) to the shaping of materials such as paper, biocomposites or functional materials. The Fibre and Biomaterials Engineering option allows students to acquire the skills to be key players in the development, manufacture and characterization of fibrous materials, recycling, biorefinery and biomaterials.
More...Printed Communication Engineering
From documents editing to packaging printingThe print media sector extends from editing documents to graphic industry and include packaging printing.
The purpose of the Printed Communication Engineering option is to train engineers able to solve problems specific to these vast and changing industries.

Specificities
36 weeks of internship
Put in a position in a company or laboratory, students compare their knowledge to industrial problems. Internships in industry are varied and drive engineering students, if they wish, around the world. The links of Grenoble INP-Pagora with many companies and research centers guarantee internships tailored to individual wishes.
Study tours
Visit industrial sites and meet professionals, including former students of the school, are a great opportunity to explore in the field the different aspects of their future engineer's profession.
Business-environment expertise
Training Industrial Processes and Environmental Management: controlling pollution control processes, understand the natural environment and develop strong skills in environmental management.
Active teaching
Learning by problems
This teaching method allows the student (learner) to be truly actor of his training by enrolling in a more realistic context of the industrial world.
Business simulation
Today, an engineer can't ignore the business management basics. What better than to live in direct the control of all aspects of a business: procurement, recruitment, production, marketing, sales, finance, management ... as part of a simulation on specialized software sparing no pitfalls , in groups, in one continuous session of one week.
Preparation for professional life
Technical, economic, scientific, sporting or cultural, personal or collective, the projects play an essential role in engineering education.

In Grenoble INP-Pagora
- Product Company Project
During this semester, the DEEP collective project is proposed in partnership with companies or laboratories. It puts the future engineers in concrete situation of realization of project in order to validate their aptitude to the management of the innovation, to the projects management and their technical competences related to the transformed products.
Double degree Engineer / Manager
Abroad
- In partner universities of the CLUSTER network (Helsinki, Stockolm, Darmstadt, Barcelona)
- In Canada (UQTR, McGill...)
- In other universities (Russia, Colombia, Brazil ...)
In one of the two programs across all sectors
- Industrial Processes & Environmental Management (PIME), carried by Grenoble INP-Pagora. It helps to control the processes of pollution control, to understand the natural environment and to develop solid skills in environmental management.
- Management of Technological Innovation (MANINTEC), supported by Grenoble INP-Ense3.
Semester 10
Semester 10 is spent entirely on the Graduation Project and associated internship.
Board of examiners
