Goals

  • To know about the main characteristics of printing inks and varnishes, depending on the different printing processes: typical compositions, drying mécanismes...
  • To be able to identify the causes of some typical ink-related printing troubles
  • To be able to participate to technical discussions with ink suppliers
  • To be able to work on specialty inks, such as functional inks and inks for printed electronics, for instance.
