Goal(s)
Acquire knowledge and practical skills about the characterization of fibrous materials with microscopic techniques.
This activity contains lectures, personal work and a practical project (optical transmission microscopes will be used.
Learning outcomes :
- To know the origins of fibres and their structure
- To morphologically characterize fibers
- To know the principles of different microscopy techniques (optical, electronic, AFM...)
