The different tertiary effluent treatment processes: membrane, ion exchange, advanced oxidation and electrochemical processes.
The choices and dimensions of these processes according to specifications.

1. Baro-membrane and electro-membrane processes (tangential microfiltration, ultrafiltration, nanofiltration, reverse osmosis, gas permeation, (electro-) electrodialysis).
Industrial applications: water treatment, food industry, electrochemistry.
Use of classical models for design processes.

2. The ion exchange processes are presented in a very general way. Exchange theory, exchange capacity, operating stability and exchange of theoretical plates, with the objective to design installations.
Examples of industrial applications with advantages and limitations.

3. Advanced oxidation processes : ozonation, chloration, ultra-sound... techniques

4. Electrochemical processes: electrodeposition...
