Jahan Golestani, a PhD student at LGP2, received the Blue Sky Young Researchers Europe Prize at the CEPI’s European Paper Week.
European Paper Week was held in Brussels on 28-30 November 2017 by the Confederation of European Paper Industries (CEPI). More than 300 participants - companies, universities, government associations, consulting groups and media outlets - attended the event.
The CEPI had invited young researchers to apply for a chance to win the Blue Sky Young Researchers Europe Award. Among the eight finalists selected, three received the prize in November last year, including Jahan Golestani, who is currently in the second year of her PhD thesis at the Laboratory of Pulp and Paper Science and Graphic Arts (LGP2) under the supervision of Christine Chirat, Associate Professor with Accreditation to Lead Research, and Professor Dominique Lachenal.
