Content(s)

This course aims to give future engineers a foundation in communication so that they can be more effective in actions such as project development, meeting management, media relations, etc.
These bases are approached by keeping as a common thread the particular theme of environmental issues and the communication challenges they generate.

The course is divided into 5 main modules that make up the communication in Environmental Management:

-Targeting your communication
-Listen to it
-Motivate and influence
-Understand the other and manage the conflict
-Propose and evaluate your message

Each of these modules includes an alternation between theoretical data and practical experiments, through role-playing, meeting management and case studies.
Individual or sub-group assignments are requested between each course. This work does not require more than 1 hour each.
More substantial work is required at the end of the module: research for a company, association, public body with a communication stake in environmental management; development of a communication approach and a brochure.

The evaluation of the course takes into account the presence, participation of students and these works.
