Goal(s)

Learning outcomes :

  • To understand the finishing and transformation processes of materials that allow the development of products with specific functionality in a sector of activity ranging from cardboard to printed electronics
  • To deal (in accordance with specifications) in a team with a problem based on technical and scientific documents, mainly in English
  • To produce and participate in the team presentation of a synthesis (15 to 20 pages) based on several scientific and technical publications

Responsible(s)

Didier CHAUSSY

Content(s)

Knowledge of the finishing and transformation processes of materials allowing the development of products with specific functionality in a sector of activity ranging from cardboard to printed electronics.
Preparation of summary documents from scientific and technical publications distributed by the teacher.

Students work in groups on a problem based on a folder, distributed by the teacher, consisting of numerous technical and scientific documents, mainly in English.
After reading and summarising the publications distributed and with the technical and scientific support of the teacher, a first review is carried out in order to propose the outline of the summary document to be produced.
The document (15 to 20 pages) is then developed from the specifications provided by the teacher during the first session.
