On 18 November 2016, during the graduation ceremony for Grenoble INP-Pagora's new engineers, a one-year sponsorship agreement was signed between the Agefpi Endowment Fund, represented by its president Arnaud Marquis, and publishing house Éditions Glénat, represented by Vincent Tixier, Production Director.
Created in March 2015 by the Agefpi (the association charged with promoting Grenoble INP-Pagora) and La Cellulose (the school's alumni association), the Endowment Fund is geared towards generating new resources for its public interest activities, so as to reinforce its support for the training provided by the engineering school in the following areas: valorisation of plant biomass; paper and cardboard; packaging; print media; biomaterials and biocomposites; functional printing and packaging; printed electronics. It initiates projects revolving around four major themes: internationalisation; innovation; socially-responsible engineers; social openness and sustainable development. To ensure that it achieves its objectives, the Agefpi Endowment Fund is on the lookout for private companies that may wish to support these projects through corporate patronage.

Founded in 1974, Éditions Glénat publishes comic books, manga, coffee table books and and press titles. A native of the Dauphiné region, the firm's founder and president Jacques Glénat was keen for the headquarters of this now international group to remain in Grenoble, in the former convent of St. Cécile. The publisher is committed to safeguarding the Rhône-Alpes region's heritage, supporting cultural patronage and promoting young authors.

By sponsoring the Agefpi Endowment Fund, Éditions Glénat strives to uphold the values inherent to training, innovation, cross-cultural exchanges and sustainable development, while helping to secure the involvement of economic players and scientists in innovative projects that will contribute to raising the international profile of the Grenoble INP-Pagora engineering school.
