A professionalizing approach
You are supported at each stage of the development of your projects (training, professional...).
An active and collaborative educational system helps you develop your knowledge, skills and teamwork. It introduces you to project-based management and, more generally, teaches you how to learn. The human, economic and business sciences — essential to any engineer — are taught from the first year.
Technological platforms allow you to benefit from practical training on industrial pilots (paper machines, printing presses, cutting table, thermopress, extruder, sleeping bench, 3D printers), on scientific equipment (environmental electron microscope, rheometers) and on simulators.

Tuition fees

The institution applies the regulation which induces the payment of differentiated registration fees by non-EU students. The full amount of the registration fee is not necessarily due at the beginning of the year: payment can be staggered. In addition, accepted students will receive information on the various grants available to Grenoble INP-UGA students. If the personal situation justifies it, a partial or total exemption may be decided upon, upon request, to the Student Social Commission. The Commission's decision is based on a social evaluation with an examination of the financial resources of the student and his/her family. Exemption from registration fees cannot be guaranteed, as the number of exempted students is limited by national regulations.

During this semester, the DEEP Innovation Challenge is proposed in partnership with companies or laboratories: design and produce demonstrators or prototypes of objects or structures using biomaterials, paper and cardboard, possibly functionalized.

It is spent entirely on the Graduation Project and associated internship.
Projects & internships: preparation for professional life
Projects: they can be technical, economic, scientific, sporting or cultural, personal or collective. The conduct of these projects allows each student to manage various situations, involving data of time and human factors that he will encounter in his professional life.
Board of examiners
Each semester contains 30 ECTS credits, distributed among the teaching units (EU). The validation of ECTS is obtained by assigning a grade equal to or higher than 10/20 in each UE.

Necessary validation of all teaching units (UE) constituting a year of training, each UE being validated at an average of 10/20 without any compensation between UEs. The full year must be validated to move up to a higher year. The 3 years, ie all 180 ECTS credits, must be validated for graduation.
The ability to work internationally
The educational path must include international mobility of at least one semester for student engineers with student status, and at least 12 weeks for student engineers with apprentice status.
