Goals

Learning outcomes :

  • To understanding the properties of solid-state macromolecular materials and viscoelastic materials
  • To understand the theoretical elements to present: cohesion and architecture of macromolecular materials, semi-crystalline polymers, crystallization/melting, amorphous polymers, glass transition phenomenon, plastic deformation, viscoelasticity, creep, and stress relaxation; dynamic measurements; thermal and temporal behaviour of viscoelastic materials, equivalence (time/frequency) - temperature, molecular interpretation of the viscoelastic response

Basic knowledge of solid-state macromolecular materials and viscoelastic materials

Cohesion and architecture of macromolecular materials, semi-crystalline polymers, crystallization / fusion, amorphous polymers, glass transition phenomenon, plastic deformation, viscoelasticity, creep, stress relaxation, dynamic measurements, thermal and temporal behavior of viscoelastic materials, Frequency) - temperature, molecular interpretation of the viscoelastic response

Prerequisites

This course is a prerequisite for the course "biocomposites"
