Content(s)

This course deals with how a treatment plant can be fully controlled, from sensors to supervision and man-machine interface. By writing specifications, students learn how to express and organise their needs in control field.

A first course presents why treatment plant must be controlled to ensure their efficiency. Then students visit a completely automated wastewater treatment plant. A brainstorming leads to understand how specifications for automation should be organised. Then students write complete specifications for automation of a wastewater treatment plant.
