Content(s)

The APP0 is an introduction to problem-based learning. The objectives of this activity are to:

  • become familiar with active learning pedagogy;
  • perceive the importance of individual work in learning;
  • achieve disciplinary objectives in computer science (define what an algorithm is used for, design a simple algorithm, translate an algorithm into computer language such as Visual Basic).

The APP0 week is divided into two main parts: design and programming, during which tutor-led group sessions and individual work sessions alternate.
