The student must propose a treatment line to purify wastewater in accordance with a set of specifications.
On the basis of bibliographical information, it will have to select the most relevant unit operations.
Using the sizing methods seen in progress and the particular specification of the model plant, he will have to carry out the sizing calculations for the unit operations.
It will also have to make a critical analysis of the choices of the unit operations in place and compare its results with those of the existing basins.
The activated sludge treatment will be used as the reference treatment in the secondary treatment and compared to the results for the processes obtained for the chosen process.
