Working in production is an exciting job, with the assurance of working as part of a team, in constant contact with all departments, such as maintenance, quality and development. It means being at the heart of the action, participating in and guaranteeing the production capacity of our machines, carrying out industrial tests, leading continuous improvement projects, training staff in new methods, and being in direct contact with our international suppliers. It's a very rewarding job, with lots of opportunities for career development.

Thanks to the knowledge I acquired at Grenoble INP - Pagora, the apprenticeship programme that gives me professional experience and the human scale of the school with its extensive professional network, I was able to find an exciting field that is in line with the environmental challenges of today and tomorrow.

My job, in a plant producing corrugated paper for packaging, enables me to tackle subjects as diverse as health and safety at work, paper-making techniques, management and budget management. Grenoble INP - Pagora not only gave me the basic knowledge of the paper industry that I needed for this job, it also helped me to develop my ability to synthesise ideas and solve complex problems. The proximity of the school to industry also meant that I was able to exchange ideas with players in the sector, and I came away with a well-established professional network. Finally, it's the apprenticeship programme that I think is the real ‘plus’ of Grenoble INP - Pagora. I was able to take advantage of it and it was a real launch pad for my career.
