Summary
A multidisciplinary course of excellence
Grenoble INP - Pagora offers 3 years of specialized, high-level scientific and technical training, culminating in a master's degree in engineering, with a choice of 2 specializations: Fiber and Biomaterials Engineering or Printed Communication Engineering. These 3 years include numerous projects, giving engineering students the opportunity to use cutting-edge industrial tools.
Grenoble INP - Pagora's program, which can be taken as part of a student curriculum or on a apprenticeship course, also enables students to develop skills in economics, business management and aspects of social responsibility and sustainable development.
As part of the training program, a number of technological platforms are available to put the skills acquired into practice on industrial pilots (paper machines, printing presses, cutting table, thermopress, extruder, coating bench, 3D printers), scientific equipment (environmental electron microscope, rheometers) and simulators.
Curriculum overview
1st year
SEMESTERS 5 AND 6
Core curriculum :
- Introduction to the school's specialties, printing processes, cellulose-based materials (paper) and their applications
- Scientific, technical and professional knowledge (engineering sciences, plant chemistry, sustainable development, process engineering)
Operator internship (6 weeks between June and August)
On successful completion of the 1st year of the programme, engineering students obtain a Bachelor's degree in engineering science.
2nd year
SEMESTERS 7 AND 8
Core curriculum and specialization (Fibers and Biomaterials or Printed Communication) :
- Scientific and technical skills in the school's specialties
- Cross-disciplinary skills: economics, project management, production management, quality management
Assistant engineer internship (2-3 months between June and September)
3rd year
SEMESTER 9
At your choice :- Abroad
- Double degree in France or abroad (GEM, Grenoble IAE - INP, Science Po, Polytech Montréal, etc.)
- DEEP collective project with companies/laboratories
- PISTE Semester - Pour une Ingénierie Sobre Techno et Eco-responsable, carried by Grenoble INP-Ense3.
- MANINTEC Semester - MANagement de l'INnovation TEChnologique, carried by Grenoble INP-Ense3.

Upon completion of their degree, Grenoble INP - Pagora graduates have a wide range of opportunities in companies and laboratories, in France and abroad. 601€ (2023/2024) in initial training, for EU students.For non-EU students:
The institution applies the regulation which induces the payment of differentiated registration fees by non-EU students. The full amount of the registration fee is not necessarily due at the beginning of the year: payment can be staggered. In addition, accepted students will receive information on the various grants available to Grenoble INP-UGA students. If the personal situation justifies it, a partial or total exemption may be decided upon, upon request, to the Student Social Commission. The Commission's decision is based on a social evaluation with an examination of the financial resources of the student and his/her family. Exemption from registration fees cannot be guaranteed, as the number of exempted students is limited by national regulations.

A wide variety of internships in companies or laboratories can take engineering students to the four corners of the globe. Grenoble INP - Pagora's close links with numerous companies and research centers ensure that internships are tailored to individual needs.Problem-Based Learning
Grouped in teams, students work together to solve concrete problems prepared by teachers. They learn the theoretical and fundamental knowledge themselves, and put into practice the skills needed to solve the problem. Information gathering, knowledge acquisition, choice of direction, teamwork management, throughout its various stages, the Problem-Based Learning approach encourages students' personal work, autonomy and self-motivation, as well as their team behavior and commitment to collective work.Board of examiners
Each semester contains 30 ECTS credits, distributed among the teaching units (EU).
The validation of ECTS is obtained by assigning a grade equal to or higher than 10/20 in each UE.
