DEEP Project: Challenge of a Team of Pagora Students
As part of the 3rd year (Master2 level) of the Grenoble INP - Pagora engineering curriculum, students in groups of 5 or 6 have to design demonstrators or prototypes of objects or structures using biosourced materials (molded cellulose, paper and cardboard), for clients (companies, start-ups or laboratories).
Lasting around 200 hours, spread out between September and February, these projects give clients the opportunity to turn their innovation projects into reality.

Project terms and conditions
Goals
Design and produce demonstrators or prototypes of objects or structures using biobased materials (molded cellulose, paper and cardboard), possibly functionalized.
- Real-life situations to assess skills in innovation management, project management and technical skills related to processed products.
- Scientific and technical knowledge: resistance (mechanical, optical, aging), printability, shaping, volume production, etc.
- Opportunity for in-depth technological and techno-economic monitoring
Team
5 to 6 3rd year student-engineers (Master2 level) combining the two curriculum options:Resources
- Around 200 hours per team (September → January) as part of the Product Company Project semester.
- Supervision by tutors, teacher-researchers
- Connected workspace
- Access to LGP2 scientific equipment (to be defined in advance)
Clients
Companies, start-ups, public institutions, research laboratoriesProcess
- Project agreement signed between client and school
- Project management (progress meetings) and innovation management
- Outputs: demonstrator, technical and economic watch report, eco-design file and scientific and technical analysis report
- Evaluation: 3 project reviews in front a jury of research professors and a transfer review for the client.
