Grenoble INP - Pagora launches its winter school dedicated to the valorisation of plant biomass and innovative materials

Grenoble INP - Pagora and LGP2 will host from February 6th to February 10th, the very first edition of the Unite! Biomass Winter School. This edition will focus on the valorisation of plant biomass (green waste, agri-food waste and wood residues) and the production of biobased materials. Professors and researchers from universities and reference laboratories in the field (KTH [Sweden], Aalto University [Finland], TU Graz [Austria], LGP2 [France]) will offer seminars and workshops on biomass valorisation, cellulose, nanocellulose and lignin.

The short program is dedicated to master's and PhD students interested in materials, sustainability, plant chemistry and willing to gain expertise on those topics.

Taking place in Grenoble, at the heart of the French Alps and European Green Capital 2022, this short program will also include several social and intercultural activities allowing students to develop links with their peers from other countries as well as with international experts.

Registration for Unite! Biomass Winter School is already open and will close on November 15th, 2022.
