Short description of the main printing processes (offset lithography, gravure, flexography, typography, ink jet, electrophotography) D. The print media business (data, markets) Trends according to the time available, a quiz is proposed to check how concepts are understood.
Two applied works complete this course : printing processes characterization from printed documents ; densitometric evaluation of printed documents.
None. It is an introductory class.
Supervised examination, shared with the "fiber and biomaterials engineering" course. Short questions. Sole authorized document : a handwritten A4 sheet, with the owner's name on it and dealing with the two courses. The examination can be made up if the absence is justified.
