Goal(s)
To discover and understand papermachine process in running conditions
Learning outcomes :
- To understand and know how a papermaking process works (crushing, dilution, draining, pressing, drying, winding)
- To communicate on the risks and environments related to the paper machine
- To establish a block diagram of the papermaking process and diagram the machine sections (formation table, press section and dryer)
- To manipulate key process figures (concentration, flow rates, dryness, hourly production)
- To know and use some of the vocabulary related to the machine and the characteristics of pulp and paper
