Make a process diagram describing the WWTP studied.
Sizing the unit operations of a wastewater treatment plant according to specifications.
Compare the results obtained with the dimensions of the actual station.
Make a critical analysis of the existing situation by proposing relevant areas for improvement.

Content(s)

The apprentice should visit his company's wastewater treatment plant (or another wastewater treatment plant). Using the sizing methods seen in progress and the particular plant specification, he will have to perform the sizing calculations for the unit operations.
It will also have to make a critical analysis of the choices of the unit operations in place and compare its results with those of the existing basins.
The activated sludge treatment will be used as the reference treatment in the secondary treatment and compiled to the results for the process actually installed on site.
