Learning outcomes :
- To understand some of the relationships of fluid mechanics
- To know equipment, sensors and installations
- To measure flow rates and velocities (elbows, sudden widening, etc.) based on Bernoulli's law and Euler's 1st theorem
- To calculate the pressure drops in a circuit
- To test a theoretical law through experience
- To establish an empirical correlation based on measurements
- To perform group work
- To critically analyze experimental results and communicate on experimental results

- Measurement of pressures and flow rates, mass flow rate conservation.
- Measurement or determination of flow rate: weirs; utilisation of a Pitot tube.
- Minor and major head losses.
- Centrifugal pump characteristics.

Evaluation : Rapport ou compte-rendu
Evaluation takes into account:
- Practicals preparation (reading the document, carrying out the preliminary work, preparing any questions for the teacher);
- The quality of the report. It must comply with the requirements detailed in the booklet, it must answer the questions asked specifically for each practical work and be submitted within 2 days.
In the case of distance learning and depending on the sanitary conditions, these TPs will be replaced by project-type work on a subject defined by the teacher. This work will be carried out in groups of 2 or 3 students and it may, depending on the progress of the face-to-face course, integrate or not exercises. It will give rise to one or more written reports.
No retake.
