4th year of international mobility in Poland for our apprenticeship engineering students

For four years now, around fifteen engineering students in their 1st year of the apprenticeship course at Grenoble INP - Pagora have been going to the Polytechnic University of Lodz for 3 months as part of an international mobility programme.

During their stay between March and June, the students followed all the courses in English, took part in various projects and visited the sites of companies such as SWM, Stora Enso, Sofidel and Amcor.

For the second year, the Paper Contest was held on the university's premises, thanks to the support of DS Smith Packaging. This competition, in which teams of students of different nationalities compete against each other, offers participants two challenges: to build the tallest paper tower within a given timeframe, and to make a paper container capable of carrying a defined load.

These challenges are an excellent opportunity to develop the ability to work in an intercultural context, while putting theoretical knowledge into practice.

These 3 months in Lodz also offer our students the opportunity to discover Poland, a country located at the heart of Europe, its culture and its history; Lodz being a city ideally located and connected to the other major cities of the country.

The school would like to thank Professor K. Olejnik, Ms D. Bobovkina and the staff of the Polytechnic University of Lodz for their investment in this flagship programme of our international strategy.
